Business model

Everyone is paid in real time, from the same order.

No claims to process. No waiting on reimbursement. No subscription to take part. Every order pays the distributor, the prescriber and the platform the moment it goes through. Organizations chip in savings only when their offer is chosen, and can include an administrative fee.

The principles

Simple rules for every role.

No fee to join

Prescribers, organizations and distributors take part without a subscription.

Paid in real time, no claims

The patient pays once, and every role is paid from that payment in real time. No claims to file, process or wait on.

The platform earns with you

Platform fees are part of each order, so the platform earns only when an order happens.

One honest price

Patients see one all-inclusive price on every offer. No fees at checkout.

Follow the money

One order, every dollar.

The patient pays one price. The organization chips in savings and includes its administrative fee. The distributor, the prescriber and the organization are paid in real time.

Platform fee · $2.00 per order

Built into the price the patient sees, so there is no fee at checkout. It is shared by the operator and HealthiatRx. There is no subscription; the platform earns only when an order happens.

  1. 1. The prescriber set a $100.00 target and a 20% margin: $20.00.
  2. 2. The distributor's price, with delivery, is $75.00. The employer chips in $15.00 and includes a 3% administrative fee ($2.25), so its offer is $62.25.
  3. 3. The prescriber's $20.00 margin and the $2.00 platform fee are added: the patient pays $84.25, $15.75 under the target.

Savings that combine

Today each offer stands on its own and the patient picks the best one. Next, savings from more than one source will combine on a single order: a health plan, a manufacturer program and the organizations a patient belongs to, together.

How the platform makes money

The platform earns when an order happens.

Platform fees

A fee that is part of each order, built into the all-inclusive price. No order, no fee.

Branded platforms

Operators run a dispensing platform for their category on HealthiatRx technology, and share in the platform fees on their orders.

Add-ons

Optional services for any role, such as AI Connect, which links an account to AI assistants. Everything works without them.

FAQ

Questions about the business model

Does anyone pay to join?
No. There is no fee to join for prescribers, organizations or distributors. Optional add-ons such as AI Connect are separate.
When does each role get paid?
In real time, on every order. There is no claim processing and no reimbursement cycle: the price is settled the moment the order goes through, and every role is paid from it.
Who collects the patient's payment?
The platform. It collects one payment from the patient, pays the distributor and the prescriber's margin, and draws the organization's contribution, on every order.
Does the patient pay a platform fee?
No separate fee. The price on the offer is all-inclusive: product, delivery and the savings the organization funds.
What does an organization pay if its offer isn't chosen?
Nothing. An organization funds its contribution only on orders where its offer is chosen, within the limits it sets.
Can an organization charge a fee?
Yes. An organization can both chip in to fund savings and include an administrative fee in its offer, to cover the cost of running its program. The fee is part of the all-inclusive price the patient sees and is paid in real time.
Can every prescriber earn a margin?
Where the practice takes part in dispensing, as in vision care, yes. Each category follows the rules that apply to it.
How does HealthiatRx make money?
From a share of the platform fees on each order, and from optional add-ons such as AI Connect.
How do I reach a real person?
Email info@healthiatrx.com. Real humans on our team answer every message.
